10 for sure. The idea of taking an electronic part that would normally end up in a land fill and re purposing. I love things like that.

I give it a 10 and 2 thumbs up...  With all the old harddrives laying around my house, I should have thought of something like that.....lol
With all the gaming nurds out there, you should be able to sell a LOT of them....lol

Good luck...

Yet another HDD analogue  clock, this 1 has been polish, the aluminum comes to a brilliant shine. i am trying to make these things more appealing.
The standard type would be the one shown earlier in this topic,   this polished aluminum type would a model up, and i am currently working on a combination of polish aluminum and spray paint,  I  will post an part finish example as well.

Feed back would be appreciated , 1-10    1=shit   10=excellent .

Those are awesome! Do you build them:
a) from nothing
b) from old pieces (just slap together random pieces of furniture)
c) redo existing furniture to look nicer

these are donated furniture, they are checked in the wood work department for defects and repairs them brought in to the paint department for decoration (my trade), then transported to shops. theres a lot of old furniture that comes in, thats makes the finishing look better than modern stuff. i am not working there no more but i hope to do my own stuff.  inspired with second hand furniture and what can be done with it, but i have a passion for pc`s so thats where i would like to combine them.
